G4 Custom Ponies
G4 customs are made using the current toy line ponies. They generally run about the same price ranges as the basic ponies. But they have a very small canvas, so it is important to remember that complex cutie marks do not look as good on them as they do on larger ponies.
G1 to G4 Conversion:
Often a popular thing to do with g4 ponies is to convert a favorite from the G1 line of ponies into a G4, especially since the "Mane 6" Ponies from Friendship is Magic are inspired by the 1980s cartoon and toy line. The pony pictured here is based on a G1 Baby Unicorn called "Truly".
Price starts at $25 and goes up depending on how many hair colors are needed and if a full body repaint was required. The formula to calculate price is Bait Cost + Hair Cost + Paint Cost +$5.

Original Characters
Original Characters are another popular custom of the g4 pony.
These generally run just a little bit higher in price because they often are a bit more complicated to do. Especially if it's someone's "persona pony." This one to the left is called "Hoshi".
Prices start at $30 and go up from there depending on how many hair colors are used and the amount of paint necessary. The formula to calculate price is Bait Cost + Hair Cost + Paint Cost +$10.

Sculpted Custom G4's
These are more expensive to make due to the cost of additional supplies for sculpting. Since G4 Ponies tend to melt in the oven and in boiling water, Apoxie Sculpt is used because it is an air-dry sculpting substance.
Prices start at $40 and go up from there depending on how many hair colors are used and the amount of paint necessary. The formula to calculate price is Bait Cost + Hair Cost + Paint Cost + Apoxie Sculpt Cost+ $10.00.
For additional elements such as Swarovski Crystals, glass beads, hand made accessories, etc, there is an extra charge. Those charges are based on the materials used and the time needed to create and apply them. Please include any details you want on your pony when asking about pricing.
